Never noticed that before, but then I usually avoid that stretch of road like the plague.
For those who still can't see it I've used my Mk IV Clayoh Picture Enhancer to make it clearer ....
I lived a life of never seeing The Penguin. Once seen, never unseen.
Well.....shows how observant I am ! My mate used to live a few doors away around the corner in Rowley Grove . My parents mustn't have noticed it either, as I'm pretty sure they would have pointed it out as we walked past to town .
Interesting that the StreetView van's been past pretty much every year recently.
They've not been down our cul-de-sac for at least 10 years it seems. You can still see my old pre-HD television through the window, and I probably got rid of that before the 2010 World Cup.
Well Baswich/Weeping Cross is a bit rough and third world so...
Got to be at least 10 years since they came down our road as well. Just looked and as well as the neighbours old conifers still being there, there is still a great view through our bedroom window onto the landing with the old ornaments on the landing windowsill clearly visable . No more streaking from the shower along the landing to the bedroom thinking no one can see me
Just took the bin up a slightly snowy and icy driveway. Couldn't do the bin lid finger test as the snow on it has frozen solid.
Could be the StreetView boys heard about that Roman Legion that marched into Baswich, and got ate.
#FakeNews probably spread by the Wildwood lot.
The Romans never got to Baswich as evidenced by the state of the road by the double roundabout.
I drove past a Street View car last August, on a road that still only shows a 2009 view.
My new phone arrived at work today. It's very difficult to do some work and not spend all my time setting it up.
Just finished backing up the important files on my laptop - about 160gb in about 7 hours. The 1tb drive has just 40gb of free space so may look at getting a new drive.
...or a life........
Getting rather fed up of seeing sons workplace in the background on the news, being filmed getting deeper and deeper under water with the rapidly rising Severn. ( And so sorry for those whose houses are also part of the river. Thankfully son heeded my advice and bought his house high up!)
Heard that after the expected peak in the morning, another one is to follow soon after
Got a feeling of doom and gloom ! (So cheered myself up and treated myself to some new shoes )
I started at a new place last week. I will have lots to do. Just not yet. I can't surf the internet. I can't get my phone out. No one is emailing me. The days are bloody long.
Did 3 laps of the block trying to get to Ten Pin carpark in the dark. Not knowing the territory , one way roadwork system , and entrance hidden by parked cars across it on first 2 laps, finally arrived in a foul mood to be nagged at for not ringing him whilst driving round in circles
I've just mowed the lawns.
To 'prove' the mower after the winter and get into a position to forget about them for a few weeks.
