Spent the morning at A&E, eldest Spawn has developed post concussion syndrome and was in agony with her head. Luckily the scan came out ok so she has anti sick pills and codeine. Spawn2 has an infection in her back scar and spawn4 has a slight chest infection. One hell of a week.
Was supposed to be going and supporting a friend in her play but all of my money went on Dr trips and the getting to the hospital
Lets just bury last week and start again next now eh?

It's my book launch today for my children's book 'Jungle Tails' at New Vic Theatre Newcastle Staffs, very exciting, published many times but never made an appearance before ! You're all very welcome it's at 10.45 start to 12 there's lots going on signings, stories, creative corner, a talk about the upcoming animation of the book, free face painting, appearances by Arvin Ape and free jungle cake and refreshments! Entry is free!

Glad the scan came out OK. What a horrible time for you
(I know what a worry it is with concussion - we ended up in A&E years ago when son fainted at school and banged his head hard as he hit the floor)Hope things get better this next week for you!

You've got a really good point there Perry, if husband has sprouts, & I manage to firk my sprouts onto his plate too.....that's double sprouts in one night.....which means NO SPROUTS ON CHRISTMAS DAY! Yay!love brussel sprouts, but the wife will only let me have them once a year .... cant think why

In other 'mundane fact' news, today i latched on to the back wheel of a fellow cyclist for about half my journey home - it's about time some of you feckers ride at a decent speed. A joy it was to be alive etc etc.
I did try and return the favour but i fear i dropped him on the GEC railway bridge - in my defence he had already started to slow, and in his defence he had tyres that were more suited to slippy slidy stuff. Still, a most welcome development on the commute front.

After all that faffing about my hair I couldn't get it to stay up in ANY of the up do's, so I had it down & curly, I didn't take any photos Glam! What a numpty I am cos I really wanted a nice pic of me & the oh....didn't have time before we left, although someone did take some while we were there....Yes, its VERY WRONG!Is it wrong that I love sprouts? lol Hope you are having a good time lm
I had a great time thanks Gadget, found out I'm a lot more 'social' than I thought I was & not nervous of meeting new people at all!
Husbands boss's & co-workers were really nice, food & drink was good, I even had a dance! The Post House was good too....a surprising amount of oldies (my age) in there that made me feel right at home
