Well, that's my plans for next week scuppered!!! I was going to have a couple of days out down in sons house to check it out while he was on holiday in Norfolk with his mates, vax his carpets , do a bit of gardening etc for something to do.....
He now aint going anywhere ! Track & Trace have contacted him and he's under 10 days house arrest after being named as being in close vicinity of someone testing positive (Glad to say sons 2 lateral flow and a PCR test at a testing centre since have come back negative though!)

Whilst grabbing a quick coffee before setting off to Scotland I've just seen two of Staffordshire's finest police officers having brekkie in Maccy Ds.

I couldn't resist telling them which way the Hamburglar and Grimace had gone, they weren't impressed, oops

Literally no reason! This was two blokes on bicycles, riding side-by-side down the road with a trailer of some kind behind so I (also on a bike) rode onto the path to let them pass and as I did he shouted at me "WHAT THE **** DID YOU MOVE OUT OF THE WAY FOR?" o.o

It felt in the vein of the kind of response you get from a covidiot/denier if they don't like you stepping off the path to walk around them but out of context.

Ignore them, I'm sure you did... I had a food delivery the other day, put my mask on to receive the delivery (baring in mind I've been off work ill for nearly a month now, with a chest /long covid type infection, continuous coughing being one of the symptons) only to be asked by the driver if I was going to Rob him, he told me to 'stop being so stupid, and take your mask off, we all stopped bothering weeks ago'....


Words failed me.

Don't take it to heart, do what you need to do for you, and stay safe.

Next week is going to be a fascinating study for behavioural science. I am expecting abuse for putting my mask on in shops.

All the transport companies in and to Scilly have said that they wil continue to make them mandatory too. One person kicked off on Facebook citing Wembley as a reason to not need them. Just because it's happend doesn't make it right.
