Just got back from the fete. It stopped raining at 1.45 just as everyone was arriving, then the sun came out.

Lots of people came and it was just so lovely. Everyone happy and enjoying themselves, sitting in the garden or getting competitive over the games.

Only started raining when everyone had gone and we had cleared everything away.

How lucky were we?

Going through the hundreds of photos I come back with after a trip, staring at a computer for hours, picking the best and making all the tweaks in photoshop, is my least favourite part of the photographic process

150 down, 300 to go...bored now...

There was an actual loom band stall - I know that because it had a sign on, not because I have the faintest idea what a loom band is.
They appear to be the devils own invention, with their sole purpose being to clogg up my vacuum.

*small colourful elastic bands that you weave on a loom (a plastic peg board type thing), or with your fingers, sometimes with the use of something that looks like a crochet hook, the end result being bracelets, rings, charms or keyrings - in other words - UTTERLY USELESS TAT!

Keeps the child entertained though (and me sometimes) ;)

Probably a bad time to call your new band 'Loom', then..? http://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-radar/new-music-loom-shes-not-there

I'm bookmarking that! They were £1.50 at the carboot today, last week they were only a quid!

Yeah, I wont buy them at the car boot as its cheaper to get them delivered. Plus it removes the I want now aspect for my OHs youngest, if I decide to get them her she can wait 2 days but I wont pay a higher price just because she wants them now. Its not like she's run out of the ones she already has!

I'm glad my kids are all grown up, couldn't be doin with 1000s of laccy bands all over the place!

I haven't bought a rubber band this century - whenever I need one, I just pop out of the house - never have to go further than one lamppost to find one...

Friday: Had a fancy haircut and blow dry...
Saturday: Went paint balling - first shot got nailed in the head and covered in yellow goo
Sunday: Returned to normal scruffiness - serves me right for trying....

Tried to catch 2 x Tailfly Malamutes, they're bloody quick - so had to get the owner instead......thank goodness he managed to catch them as they were on a very busy Stone Rd by the time I found his house!

Anyhow, good deed done, so I would like some goodness back please Karma :)
