Spent £11 (travel there, back and cost of damn thing) collecting 'something' from the main sorting office that was 50p short on it's postage so couldn't be delivered. Got there to discover instead of a parcel i'm expecting it was a pointless letter I in no way needed and they'd not put postage on at all. Rather cross about it :grr:

That's terrible! I'd be rather cross as well. I once had a card through saying I had 'an item' to pay for . They wouldn't tell me what it was until I paid and turned out to be some travel firm who I'd never heard of sending me an unstamped advertising leaflet. I could have cried at paying for something which went straight in the bin.

Collected my son's new car from Oldham this morning. The outbound trip included a bus ride, a ten minute walk to the railway station followed by a trip on the train, then when in Manchester I had to get a tram, make a change and get another tram to Oldham Mumps (why Oldham has mumps I really don't know) then finally a 20 minute walk to the garage.

Inbound trip involved getting in the car and driving along three motorways and then through Stafford to home.

And people wonder why public transport isn't that popular...

Finally played the new Primal Scream cd that's been sitting here ignored for over two weeks. Great album, two weeks of listening time lost.

Is it just me? WTF is this Dead Island Riptide? And where did you get the bears? And to what use do you put the match? Or is this Blates Obv to only those who do yoof speak?

Went to Wolves beer festival, not much left sadly but found a nice one and a scrummy cider. Found out about a cider and perry fest in West Brom in September :)

Just went to Taybarns in Newcastle for an all-you-can-eat. I ate 4 meals and 3 deserts. It's now 4 or 5 hours later and i'm still in sheer agony... I won't do THAT again!! :)

Think I've just waterproofed myself :(

Thought it was a good idea to spray it outside, but it managed to blow back onto me even though its not very windy....hmmm.

Hehehe, it was sort of what I was aiming for...I bought a 'raincoat' from New Look a couple of weeks ago, I havent worn it yet and decided it didn't look very rainproof....so I dragged out an old can of the waterproofing stuff that you spray on shoes....but ended up covering myself in it instead....probably would of been a better idea just to cover myself in it!!
