Another visit to Rugeley this morning. Time for a lie down I think.

Oh Cr*p all fired up from last night's 5k I've just signed up and paid for the 20k in September.

Bristol half marathon - Watch out I'm on my way.

Still on the lookout for a 10k in August.

Feeling disappointed that I've lost no weight at all in the last two weeks - I've been a bit naughty with the food and wine ( I blame the sunshine) back to it with a vengeance tomorrow.

Is another 2 stone in the next 3 months unrealistic at this point?

Bristol can be a bit hilly. What's the route like? Running up - and down - hills is a skill to be acquired....

Thats the route, I have no idea about the hills though.

Edit: Reviews mention a couple of minor inclines - I can live with that. It's also rated as good for beginers.

That's OK, it's mostly flat enough around the docks, they've probably thought enough about avoiding the hilly bits. You'll see some of the steep bits as you pass under the Suspension Bridge..

Have you managed 2 stone already? Well done you I managed 1 kilo a week in May, but I've not weighed myself in the last 2 weeks as the other half was off work and I might have slipped a little with my dismal calorie/carbless existence - I'm blaming him!

I just spent 3 hrs looking for my wallet. finally gave up and cancelled my cards, can you guess what happened next.
Yes, suddenly thought, "I wasn't wearing these trousers yesterday", went to wardrobe, wallet was hanging out of the back pocket waiting for me to notice it.
Now I have no cards for 5 days, can you hear the screams of frustration out there?

I have left my wallet in most shops and public houses in Stafford. Many years ago, I bought a fluorescent yellow one, with the intention that it should be a bit more noticeable. A few weeks later, I left it on the roof of the car, in London, as I drove off - with £500 of somebody else's money in it - and only noticed it was missing some time later...

Cards cancelled, blah, blah, blah....


It had my address in and came through my letter box two days later - fully intact.
