Mundane facts about your day...

I had some passengers in my car yesterday and one of them talked and talked non stop for the 20 minute journey.
A shortened version went something like this...
"So anyway right, I had this girlfriend and she dumped me so I found another girlfriend and she dumped me, I got back together with my ex but she dumped me again, I did actually find it easier to get girls where I lived before, I had this one girlfriend right, but I dumped her because I found someone prettier"
On and on and on he went without stopping to take a breath.
I did try and interject by pointing out qualities such as kindness, but to no avail, he talked over me (rude) and carried on regardless.
He then started bragging about his six pack, (he'd show me later when we got out of the car), also showing off about he was not only the strongest person he knew but the cleverest as well.
He then started firing random maths questions at me to prove that yes, he was actually smarter than me.
When it came to a question that I was struggling with (I wasn't sure how many zeros there were at the end) I said
"Oh for goodness sake, give it a rest for a minute, no one likes a big head you know"
He did have the good grace to remain quiet for a short while.
I would like to add that my passenger is aged seven.

Got a numb nose and mouth. Just had to have an emergency dental appointment to fill a massive deep hole in one of my front teeth.
Trying to drink a glass of water and almost impossible, so leaving the ciders til much later...can't dribble that everywhere!

Earlier this evening, I managed to convince somebody on Facebook that the Hogwarts Express would be calling at Stafford tomorrow and would be spending ten minutes on Platform 2, scheduled to arrive at 9:45.
I finally confessed that it might not be true, as she was going to take her grandkids down to see it - if they could actually find Platform 2....

Awaiting the skip to arrive this morning, spent yet another day clearing and scrubbing my late parents house and piling everything outside to bung straight into it ..... How can all these companies make so many bloody cock-ups? Skip now supposed to be arriving tomorrow morning instead when , with my brother back at work tomorrow, there's only me there to try to struggle to fill it before the rest of the street decide to take advantage !
Should be entertaining for the neighbours, me only 5 ft 2" trying to launch stuff into a high sided container
