Most intrigued as to why a delivery driver has pulled up nearby , put some of the parcels in the front of the van, then climbed inside the back and shut the doors behind him. Been there ages ....
Well, he wasn't locked in anyway ...just got back out and driven off .
I thought he might have been having a bit of a kip or something (or got a portaloo in there ) Just seemed strange he was parked up in the driveway! They load up the next few parcels, stop for lunch and then go about their route
I do have a sink to fit in the garage at some point - the water supply reaches the adjacent greenhouse, currently.
My missus, an ex-SENCo, says they (and similar things) worked with her kids.treated the wife today to one of those Weighted Blankets.
They are supposed to help with anxiety as well as other things.
I really couldnt see how it would work but no word of a lie, she was asleep within 30 mins of wrapping it around her.
They are pretty expensive , the one i ordered was a little over £100 but i would recommend them to anyone who suffers from Heightened anxiety, stress and depression and apparently they are supposed to work for those with autism.
Anyone else got one, and did they work for you also ?
Some astronauts reportedly struggle with the lack of weight from the tethered sleeping bags on the ISS and resort to straps to provide a bit of pressure from the "bedclothes".treated the wife today to one of those Weighted Blankets.

I' m awake for most of the night, with an over- active mind and worrying about every little thing. Maybe It would work for me to get to sleep ( although do have a big weighty duvet already which ain't working)
Cheers @perry081064This came in a box and it was bloody heavy for its size.
It would fit a queen size bed so pretty big.
Just checked the weight for you and its 10Kg.
Hope that helps.
If you decide to try one they give you 100 days to return if you don't like it.
If you want the make and details I'll look them out and send a link over in the morning
( by the way , shes still asleep )
I may have the same sort of thing - M65 jacket with a detachable fleece lining. I wore it out this evening for the first time this winter and, boy, was it warm .... But heavy when you take it off.I have a 1960s Swedish military jacket, with a detachable fleece lining - with the lining in place, it is stupidly heavy and always catches out any 'shall I take your coat?' people when it's handed over.
But, when wearing it, the weight is just not apparent, and it is supremely warm and comfortable.

I've got sheets as well as a big heavy duvet and heavy duvet covers. Hate it in hotels when there is only the duvet and no top sheet.Sounds a good idea, I've always found duvets to be too light and preferred the weight of sheets and blankets
