So how much do you think you have over estimated your student's grades @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady ?
Yeah, don't do that...I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic!
And i truly, truly believe you. And i truly, truly believe you have over-estimated by at least 5%. It is most likely to be more than that.I truly truly believe what I predicted was accurate and fair.
My mocks were shocking, due to shall we say, lack of parenting no one encouraged me to revise or focus on anything scholastic. Same thing happened when it came to olevels. For some reason at olevel I did really well. I wouldn’t advise not revising for things as quite frankly later in life it was my downfall.

This is not in any way meant as criticism.
I even trulier believe that at least 25% of you colleagues haven't been quite as dedicated as you. It is not as if this is entirely divorced from 'enlightened self-interest'.
Teachers teach, assessors assess - each discipline requires skill.
Quite possibly so but, in the middle of a pandemic where exams were unable to be sat and, therefore, assessors unable to assess there is little choice. Was there that one kid that had been grinding your gears all year that was borderline that you marked down?
That'll learn him, eh?
That sweet kid that was thick as sh!t but was just too good for this world - bump 'em up a bit, right?
That's exactly why we should just trust teacher assessments and forget the years of experience of the assessors of this world, yes?
We've all had enough of experts - teacher knows best, what?
