You can still open the bottles then.Luckily still got a few teeth on the other side of my mouth
Everything ok?Just heard a loud but unidentifiable noise in the back garden.... I am unwilling to investigate.
No idea, I ignored it & went to work!Everything ok?
It's an age thing...Never sleep in a van under a tree in a layby at barmouth, bits falling off and rattling along the roof are not conducive to sleep!

What a night, got disturbed in a neighbours back garden whilst singing the hits of Rick Astley.
Rick Astley had hits ????
I had a notification whilst ordering my repeat prescriptions that I needed to organise one, either at the surgery or certain pharmacies (luckily our local pharmacy was on the list)As the article says:
How will the scheme work?
The NHS will get in contact with all those who are eligible for a free flu jab.
Officials want to ensure the highest risk patients are at the front of the queue for vaccinations when the immunisation programme starts in September, with those aged 50-64 set to be offered the jab later.
The aim is that all those eligible will have had their vaccine by Christmas.
It’s because older people have a weaker immune system and wouldn’t be protected with the normal flu jab.I had a notification whilst ordering my repeat prescriptions that I needed to organise one, either at the surgery or certain pharmacies (luckily our local pharmacy was on the list)
I don't get why they have 2 different lots of strains for over and under 65's ones. ????
Aaaah thanks @Carole . So I'll be getting the super duper version then ......gosh , it's horrible thinking I'm that old enough to have it thoughIt’s because older people have a weaker immune system and wouldn’t be protected with the normal flu jab.
They produce up to 75% fewer antibodies than a younger person.
That’s why they have the enhanced quadrivalent version.
I've been having it since my early 40's as I'm diabetic (ie: I have a chronic illness, as its put), they text me about 6 weeks ago saying they will contact me shortly for my injection this year, and also sent me a message saying my 15yr old daughter would need one too.Aaaah thanks @Carole . After investigation when home from work (and it was now light) , it must have been a crab bucket rolling on the path just outside the back door, it had been evicted by the carer from the downstairs loo the day before.... but at 5.30 in the morning it defiantly sounded much more sinister and louder than it should.Everything ok?
