Definitely summer of 1994, I remember it was found the day after the opening game of the World Cup i heard the news on the radio on the Saturday morning. The reason I remember that was that I'd walked home down Oxford Gardens early hours of the morning on my way home from watching the match at a mates on Bertelin Road

No it was way before then. Unless it's local gossip. No idea when it occurred someone told me that someone in the house survived but has lots of scars from the attack

So it wasn't my faded memory. I was told one of the children lived in Sandon Rd and had some terrible scars.

It looks like the actual house isn't there now, the remaining house numbers suggest it was probably an 'up and down' road and No 7 would be on the north side, around where Newey and Eyre was, where the nursery was after they left.

That was not classed as murder in the end, official decision was she died falling down the stairs IIRC.
