I’m after some ideas for a natural playground.

We’ve planted an orchard and have plans for a green house and veg garden, we want to incorporate some things for the kids in there as well. Hubby has made a den for them and is going to make a mud kitchen and camp fire area.

We want a few other bits and bobs, not play equipment as such, just a few different areas to keep them amused.

    Any suggestions?

Some logs or old pieces of wood that "mini-beasts" could live under. Kids love looking for mini-beasts.

Feeding station for birdies - build a hide next to it.

Make sure it's not too near the house, because rats.

    Bug hotel, definitely.

Rope swing if you have a suitable tree.

Area of tall grass & wildflowers with narrow paths cut through it.
