I play netball for a team in the local ladies league at Blessed Bills on a Wednesday night (occasional Tuesdays), mainly from September through to Easter.
Are there any ladies here who would be interested in joining our team? If I'm honest we are looking for players who have preferably played some netball since school as ladies netball is significantly rougher/faster than school netball, perhaps at Uni or similar. Having said that, if you can catch, throw. run, are fit and know the rules then we will help you get back up to speed.
Shooters are particularly welcome, as are people who will reliably turn up when they say they will! Its amazing the amount of players who want to play and then text 10 mins before a match saying they have 'x' excuse and wont be coming!
Cost is reasonable and involves affiliation to All England Netball
