Netflix Recommendations

I thought season one started well but then lost the plot half way through. Will be interested to see if the new Spock/Burnham storyline makes things less chaotic.

 

Could be interesting as this Spock character is pre-logic and allows his half human side to shine through more. As I understand it, the time line is near to the cannon story line of the TOS pilot "the cage" and this season leads up to that point.

I guess we shall find out next month

Do you all pay full price for netflix? Cos you don't have to.....

If you use a VPN (hola for chrome browser works fine) and change your country to Turkey they will charge you in lire, this is half what it costs in the UK and once set up has no impact on your viewing. Works fine for me

 

I've just finished 'Sex Education' it was pretty good.

Orange is the New Black started well then got too silly, I've given up on it now.

Suits started well but became very samey I managed 2 1/2 seasons.

I think I'm the only person in the world that hasn't seen breaking bad yet, that's next on the list.

 

I've never seen it, or Twilight or owt else in a similar vein.

 

Now on my list!

 

Spoiler: Re Titans

Another season end like an episode end, let me gazer upon the future... i'm beginning to see something... i see it now...beginning, middle, middle, middle, middle, middle, middle, middle, yawn

 

Not looking! Already hooked into this series.

 

We finished Titans now we have the wait for the next season.

 

I don't pay anything. My daughter pays for Netflix and I pay for Amazon and we share both.

 

I use prime a lot for free next day delivery so i have Amazon video already.
Daughter has netflix and has added me to her account so thats free too.

I can get access to overseas media and end up seeing a lot of shows etc before they hit these shores anyway but always handy to have a backup.

beats the usual now tv and freeview offerings hands down

 

Just finished watching Den of thieves and now watching hitmans bodyguard

 

Good place, Santa Clarita diet is also good.

 

I’m currently watching the originals , it’s a spin off from vampire diaries

 

Those that enjoyed Titans, and Gotham, and all of those sorts of things, will also by extension almost certainly enjoy Umbrella Academy.

Slow though it is to start.

 

Also Russian Doll is diverting.

Overtly filthy, perhaps too much so, but entertaining.

 

I’ve just started watching this and love it. Did start watching Russian doll but lost interest. I might try it again.
Watched Closer and enjoyed that. I need a good action thriller to look forward to.

 

The Umbrella Academy is not something I would normally watch however, caught the first episode when my son watched it.
I absolutely loved it and have now watched the whole thing. At the moment there is only one series but the ending has left it needing a second.

I would normally be put off because they have super powers as really not my thing but wow, the story was gripping and I couldn't wait to see the next episode. The show was also very humorous in places, which I really wasn't expecting.
