I just felt that i should post a message saying how very happy i am to find out Terry effing Dillon has been given a life sentence for what he did to daniel davis . I know he could be out again in 13 years and to some people thats gonna really piss them off but im just glad that monster is where he should be . Anyone that knew daniel would know that he was a kind caring gentle soul that did not deserve to die ....i can only hope that he is truly resting in peace

i don't/didn't know either of the involved parties, but i've been following the story in the local papers and i was pleased to read the result also.. horrific story :(

aah, i had a feeling it related to that story but i wasnt sure.

it was a truly hideous attack by all accounts and im was so surprised to hear about an incident like that in stafford.

I kept up with this story too, and am shocked that any 'human being' could commit such a brutal attack on another, lest of all in Stafford and over something so trivial. A couple of my friends knew/knew of Daniel, and have also said that he was as passive, harmless and friendly as the papers would suggest. It's completely disgusting, and although I agree that certain prisoners can be treated and rehabilitated whilst banged up, at this point in time I just think they should throw away the key...

I think it was because they say it wasn't premeditated i.e. planned.

Sadly, once again, the law proves it's an ass.
Should get more for it as it proves he's a menace to society.

My condolences to Daniels family
