Brand New Focalpoint Gas Fire.

Unopened, never used. Still with plastic bands around the box. Unfortunately, not suitable for our fireplace but didn't realise until it was too late to take it back! Sigh.

It is this one, currently selling at B&Q for £296:

If you still have the receipt and it is 'broken' you have a years warranty - so could always get a credit note?
