Alright everyone,
Don't worry it's not one of those 'sign up & advertise' first posts, the people involved with this event are regular forum users 'gilbert grape' and 'tekkers' - we just wanted to create an account specific to our music.
Basically, we've decided to organise a Live Acoustic Music Night, which hopefully will be a regular event in the future.
Our first event is on Friday 3rd September, which gives us plenty of time to let everyone know, and make sure we pull a big crowd - that reflects the quality of the acts we have performing! The venue will be Stafford Rangers FC's Social Club. There will be an admission charge of a few pounds (& all money will go directly to Stripes (Stafford Rangers Supporters Trust)).
Why've we decided to do this? We want to create a brilliant acoustic night consisting of 6-7 acts, that everyone who attends - loves, it's on a Friday night, so it's a night after everyone has had a week at work, people can come along, listen to some quality acts and have a few drinks with friends and family.
We'll update you with information about tickets, start times and the line-up etc.
Hope that it's something quiet a few of you are interested in, we hope to pack the venue, have a brilliant night, and maybe it could become a more regular event if its a big success.

We were encouraged by the srfc beer festival and all the people who came down and said they loved it and had a great day or two at that, as a non-footballing event, as we were two of the group of volunteers who did that for the club.
