New Next?

Allegedly, the old B&Q is being transformed into a huge Next?

They've already started work on extending the building forwards about 1/2 the length again.

Anybody else heard anything about this?

Can't see that a town the size of Stafford needs a huge Next....

Although the new Argos is pretty handy!

Yeah my sisters been going on about it for weeks, she cann't wait for it to open!

It does look like its being extended, i mean b&q was big anyway, so why on earth does it need to be even bigger, though my sister disagrees! lol

The new next is only HALF the size of BnQ there will be another unit there aswell but I don't know what that is going to be yet.

Yep - missed that one myself aswell. Don't venture down there too often.

Not fussed about the NEXT - that's for people with pennies <ruffles through SCOPE clothes bin>.

So this it the new one thats effectivly at the back of Asda? I'm only away for 2 years and there's new things everywhere! I used to cycle to the 'Queens Road retails park'?? or something. It had a Pet's a Home and a B&Q - is that the one thats going to be a giant Next?

Thing at back of ASDA to be new leisure centre. If you have a peak over the wall you can see the swimming pool.

Pets at Home still there - and yep, that's the one for the NEXT I think Lots been going on in Stafford the past couple of years. Couple of old Uni mates have dropped by after a couple of years away and they haven't seen the PC World/TK Maxx Park and want to know what's going on with the refurbed Nelson pub (why don't yer feet stick to the floor anymore?).
