New park..the crossings..

Well, I doubt many on here will have seen It, but there is a new play park on the crossings, now, I'm not one to moan....but

It's awful, no fence, no black soft spongy floor, there is long tufts of grass everywhere which will be a perfect hiding place for a dog parcel or even a needle left behind from any potential nighttime visitors. It looks like the parks from the olden days of the late eighties.

So my questions is...is this how parks are now? Wlll it be completed one day? Should I complain to someone?

Thanks folks

And hello to the forum poster I met down there tonight (Pete?)

Any pictures?

Is it any better than Millfield Pocket Park in Sunderland?

Ok, yes, we are the clique, and we meet in the park that time forgot. Has anyone got a couple of nag nav jackets?

The new park is just an awful thing, all it has accomplished is attracting most of Staffordshire! Day in day out all that happens is the irritating screaming! The kids that are "playing" on the park are 95% at least not from the crossings but actually from everywhere but! They don't treat the area with respect simply throwing any rubbish around and ripping up any foliage that is left after the builders cut down the lovely trees, newly planted only 6 months previous! The area really has come down over the last 6 months and I am sure it will only get worse as more and more disrespectful kids descend on the crossings. I fear it will soon become just another asbo central!
