Stafford isn't overburdened with statues, but we have recently acquired a new one. Anybody else noticed him?

..and it definitely is 'him', even in this cold weather.

There seems to be no identity indicated, but I would be fairly confident that it is Mercury / Hermes.

All will be revealed. I'm sure somebody else will have noticed it. It is just off a major road.

There is quite a clue in the subject.

I think he appeared in October, but I've only just got round to getting a picture.

I've just been past to check and the illumination is not currently in service.
