New watering holes and eating establishments in stafford?

But the restaurants will be right by the 'big' shops.

And people are lazy.

They'll find a market pretty much regardless and attract people into the town. Some of those people will venture forth into 'Old Stafford' and spend money at our existing independent places.

Everybody wins.

Are we already calling it old Stafford already?

I don't think the butlers bell has a chance in hell at that end of the town. Hard to believe or not. The start of the town will probably be the town centre! If we are lucky

After work walking past the Tavern I saw the gentleman who told me he was opening a restaurant in there coming out and locking up. So am assuming it is still on :)

It isn't though.

There's plenty of money in and around Stafford, people just need a reason to spend it in Stafford.

Build it and they will come, like they already do in the Swan and the Bear, which are hardly bargain basement.

Lens us a fiver will ya luv

I agree. People don't mind parting with there hard earned cash as long as they are getting something of quality in return...
