I've eaten at the Morris man twice now and both times meals were excellent - went with groups of friends all had excellent meals - food delicious and cost very reasonable.

The meals served in good time and the service good.

They may have to get more bar staff for the evening tea time rush as more and more people discover this place

just heard morrisons is going to be a huge british heart foundation charity shop with a heroin addiction drop in centre attached to it. New benches to be installed outside which will be fitted with sharps boxes. A state of the art discount card shop will open shortly after. By xmas there will be new "GOLD 4 CASH" store followed by a 2nd hand mobile phone shop. A new Jetty stretching out onto the marsh area is also being built which will incorporate a supermarket trolley launch platform. The new complex will not be covered by cctv as local drug addicts won their human rights case where they claimed they had the right to "Cook Up and have a dig" without the worry of being caught on camera. A local addict quoted

Had a nosey in some of the units being built next to the soon to be Nando's - can confirm there's a Frankie & Benny's going into Riverside. (Boxes near the window with the address on) - it's the unit with the rope covered door handle.

The mc Donald's application was for the side of argos.


If the hough f&b does go I would guess another restaurant would soon take its place. I doubt it will close personally and wouldn't suit a fast food chain due to the restrictions on the building.

Keys were handed over to chiquitos in June, so any delay is down to them by choice, or their contractors which they select and pay for, not the developer.

All sounds a bit 50/50

Not to my knowledge ... Given the relocation of the service road for the back of the retail park, there may be issues of a wayleave variety. There's an Electric substation for B&Q next to the security office for GE. I would of thought that the transfer of the service road to close to that substation would mean it would need moving ??

I think they have 3 years from planning being accepted to make a start so just 16 months left....

I do not work for MaccyD and I know not of their business plan, however they have stalled on building at the Hough, so I canvassed staff at Argos, Maplins, Home Bargains, B&Q and Frank & Ben's not one could confirm MaccyD arrival yet they all had heard that it was ......

I would expect the first people know of it will be when they start work dropping the kerb on ranshaw drive, but they have another 16 months to do that.....

Especially a 24 hour one, so people have as much opportunity to kill themselves as possible
