Well, it arrived the other day. Colour me impressed. Anybody with a Nintendo DS but without one: get one. Now. :)

For the record the people on HotUKDeals RAVE about DealExtreme...never used them myself but there defo very popular on there and I havent heard a bad thing said about them to be honest

But they're not illegal to own? If they were, people like Amazon UK wouldn't sell them surely? Ebay is full of knock offs, but Amazon tends to be better regulated?

Has anyone managed to play a network game with a DS through one of the town's many wifi hotspots (McDonald's, Picturehouse etc)? I can't seems to gets it to works. :(

Meh; it's a grey area legally, I think. They're not illegal as such, because *in principle* there are legal things you can do with them (homebrew software (Moonshell, DSOrganize), hobbyist games (Lemmings! Doom! Quake! *drool*), emulators, and so on and so forth.) I for one don't remember agreeing to only run "official" software on them.
I would imagine if someone in authority looks at the storage card and finds lots of pirated games on it, you could be for the high jump, though. :)

Slight derail; does anyone know of a flashcard-based thing that'll let me run Gameboy Advance software on a DS? There seems to be all kinds of cool GBA homebrew that I can't run from either my R4 or Edge card. :(

Never managed a network games on my DS :( one game that is crying out for it though would be Quake DS. Got it on my DS but no idea if network is possible.

Doesn't seem possible with QuakeDS :( DSDoom seems to support DS-DS network play via a PC server program, though.
