Had a couple of flickers, resulting in my computer having to restart. Bummer.

We had power off for about an hour and a half. Always seems to go off around the time we need to eat and when the heating's about to kick back in...sodding typical! Thank god for battery powered LED Xmas decs.. :xmas:

Spent the evening drinking at a friends at ST17 end, power was off for the first hour or two of being there. Saying that, it was quite different drinking with mates by candle-light and not having music blaring out for a change.
On a different note, walking home 3 miles has given me flaming ear ache. DAMN it's cold outside!!

Asda's lights and power went off yesterday about 7-7:30ish whilst we were in there. The backup generator kicked in after a few seconds. The power was out long enough for Vault boy to yell "disco!!!" rather loudly.

I'm thinking of adopting that as my default response to a blackout as well - do you think he would mind?

Outage for about 2 hours Saturday evening, cooking by candle light and eating by firelight with no Saturday crap TV. So not all bad.
