Hmm, he seemed positive that option A was already the one that they considered a done deal, and that it will pass to stage 4 of the consultation process next month. Apparently stage 5 is when the gov agrees to fund it, but its pretty much a formality now. He could of course of been talking crap, but he was a very talkative fellow who definately knew what else was going on with our rail systems. Despite not knowing who he is I shall not repeat how he told me he knows, as it kind of points a massive finger at him!
So, take with a pinch of salt, but apparently option A was always the preferred route and that is the one they will apparently be taking. Isn't a members house near here?
