What can you do if you suspect you postie is helping himself?

Expecting £600 of Tesco Clubcard Rewards which were despatched 12 days ago and a Daily Mail £5 voucher which was despatched 17 days ago.
Anyone else in Stafford having bovver?

There is **** all you can do, best thing is to let postie know you are on to him. Stop him one morning and ask if he knows why so much post is missing lately. Could be a thief in the sorting office too, not necessarily your beat postie.

don't mention the blinds
1st thing is pay no attention to the above, if you telephone the PO they will alert their own investigation bods and trust me they are pretty good usually employing ex force for whom this kinda mularkey is childsplay......

£600! you must have spent some serious money with tesco! IF someone has stolen them, would they be able to use them?
Knowing the PO it's no surprise it's taking so long. They are hopeless. No doubt there are a lot of people on holiday at the moment, and mail is
being prioritised?

When 3 orders in a row from threadless went walkies I mentioned it to a mate at the time who worked in a pub lots of posties drank at. She went over and asked if anyone knew of any issues lately, as I was missing parcels. Strangely from then on not only did I not lose a parcel, they started leaving them with next door too which helped as I worked 10 hour days. Coincidence maybe, but it worked.

Don't they prioritise mail, in that once it misses it's 'slot' it gets put to the back of the pile? Something to do with targets and only being able to get penalised once per item of mail.

I was having the same problem with work post - and things like bank statements, bills etc were not arriving. I 'mentioned' it to our postie and asked him to keep an eye out for the missing post - within the next few days everything I was waiting for arrived.

I am trying to believe it was coincidence .... and we have had nothing go astray ever since.

I think someone else said to try mentioning it (it lets them know you are aware of the issue)

Ref the Tesco's I have mislaid my vouchers before now - and when you ring Tesco's Club Card - they will resend them and they confirmed that any vouchers can only be used by the name on them.

How do I edit this?

Why 'try' to believe it was a coincidence as opposed to imagining this poor fellow just went back to the depot and actually did what you asked i.e. kept an eye out for it, and found it in whatever corner it had been dropped in?

I've rung Tesco and they a resending the vouchers. (It's the Reward vouchers that you exchange the normal clubcard vouchers to get 3x the value). Just hope these make it through or else my holiday booking might go down the pan.

I've had that before. I had a birthday card for someone in wildwood which is the other side of the A34 from me.

I get the impression that if the letter is mis-sorted (allocated to the wrong round( then they just shove it through anywhere.

15 days isnt too bad, not sure i get anything the same week its posted. Just had some insurance docs through from the end of july, thank god they offer electronic versions.

If they can't deliver then whats the point? Most of what i get is junk anyway, at least spam email doesnt fill my wheelie bin.
