In dark days like this with incomes going down and bankers still on the lose are we not allowed a good moan. If some people want to protest good on them. If we can make people aware of issues through social media we might get things changed.
Ah I see. Fair enough.

Have to be honest, it's not something I'm too fussed about when it comes to protesting.

In fact, I'm not one for protesting anyway, as I'm sure you know from any posts I've made about unions ;)

Anyway - fair play to those who do protest - although I feel your cries may be falling on deaf ears.
If a barman serves you a beer with a large head do you smile or do you say I see the tides out today. Then explain to them there error of their ways.

I think that can be termed a protest.
Ok perhaps I need to clarify exactly what I mean so that anarchist loving wankers don't try to take it out of context.

I want nothing to do with these hippies nor any other form of organised protest.

Perhaps I would if it mattered but this doesn't and it will change the square root of sod all.

Watch Max Keiser on Russia Today, you will see the demonstrators are wasting their time. The bankers own everybody with influence and power.
We are all doomed.
Mortgages are cheap though:banana:

We have the right to protest whats wrong with it. Even Mr Angry from Tunbridge protests by writing to the Times and the BBC.

Nothing's wrong with it, knock yourself out.

I, personally, have better things to do than protest to people who don't give a monkey's about me about things which aren't really that bad.

I can't be sure what the occupation of the Spittal Brook might achieve.

It may come to me later.

But you are on the right side.

The soft shoes will shuffle, and shuffle, and shhhh...

(things which aren't really that bad) (they really are)

Customer(s) for Pete on a Saturday afternoon?

Independence for Cornwall?

Live footy matches on a dodgy Greek sat dish - perish the thought but it might be a good cause to protest about though =)

Another reason to protest about being kicked out of the Spit for protesting?

Good luck with the Occupation anyway. We might pop down later next week if you're still there ;)

It was there last time I looked - I've always wanted to change the last line to 'No point?' and see how long it took him to notice...

You have point there Glam. It wasn't me who suggested the Spit as an Occupy Together meeting point, I was merely suggesting what occupying the Spit might achieve :)

Still pinching the sign could be fun.

I'm sure it's not just me, but I think things such as this movement and others would attract better support if the anarchists/muppets/instigators didnt kick off so often, causing damage and raising the tax payers bills as well as damaging innocent compay's properties along the way. they're that brave and true to their word, why hide behind masks?
Surely a peaceful protest should turn on anybody who wrecks it?
