I'm involved with a group that is putting on an event for One World Week (http://www.oneworldweek.org/) in October and was wondering if anyone on the forum would be interested in helping out or getting involved in any way. We will be having lots of world food (Caribbean, Indian, Yemeni and Burmese sorted out so far), Indian dancers, hopefully drummers, some Fairtrade stuff, some local folk singers, henna tattooing, Indian head massage etc etc. It's all about bringing the community together to celebrate our diversity and remembering that we all live on a tiny little planet together. The event will be on 27th October in the church hall opposite the Soup Kitchen.
