Wanted Outdoor Music/Speaker System

Does anyone know where we could either borrow or hire (as cheap as possible as it's for a charity event!) an outside speaker system?

It's quite a big outdoor space so it needs to be one of the bigger ones. Any help would be gratefully received - thank you!

I've hired PA stuff from Stafford Sound & Lighting in the past...the owner has always been very helpful in advising the right kit for the job. I think you need 3 types of identification, one with your pic on it.

I second that, there are also a few other that you can try, like Hazzard Promotions they have a couple decent size PA that is capable of outdoor events and they are pretty cheap, and as you are doing a charity event they might do it a lot cheaper for you (but I not 100% sure about that part thou) i don't know the number off the top of my head but if you go and visit Guitar and son they will have all the details there.

or if you ask nicely the guy in the shop has a PA system that might be able to do the trick

Hazzard is 07969703211. Del is a cracking sound man, who I can heartily recommend. Just to be clear when you say 'outdoor' you'd still need some kind of cover as PAs are generally not waterproof.
