Inspired by the fireworks display thread, would anyone fancy a forum paintball game at some point? I've not played for about 3 years, but would be up for another game. There are a lot of places about to try, has anyone been to Project Paintball near Penkridge? I've always gone to NPF myself, out near Sutton Coldfield, which I have to say has always been excellent. Pricing there for a full day is:

# Basic Package inc. 500 paintballs - £39.50
# Xtreme Package inc. 800 paintballs - £47.50
# Master Blaster Package inc. 1000 paintballs PLUS a smoke grenade - £55

I'm going next Saturday as long as Royal Mail get their arses back to work and get my pack to me in time...

Love paintballing. Does Hat from the fireworks thread work for Project Paintball? If so, surely a forum trip would get a big discount?!?

I'd be up for a forum trip though (as long as the date and my finances are suitable). I'm very competitive though so don't be shocked when I turn up looking like Rambo barking orders to my troops :D

Whilst I am a bit competitive, I have an awful FoF recognition system. I tend to think anybody facing me is an enemy, imagine me as your american back-up if you like!

I went on one of these as part of my stag celebration day/evening/weekend

Twas a great laugh! there did happen to be a lot of blokes like those two characters off the fast show "right lets off-road!! Extreme ! " sorts ! Was great fun rolling around in the muck shooting each other , capturing flags etc

Unfortunately for me before we went home a "stag" hunt was organised ( you can see where this is going can't you )?

anyway I got a bit "shot at"

all good fun tho few bruises but the copious amounts of drink helped.

So it's a possibiliteee is this . finances, time, allowin' etc etc

I haven't uses PP at all so not sure what the "arena" or whatever it's called is like . Where we went was all wooded and watery and "hedgey" which is ideal . I couldn't see much of that in the PP site all oil drums and a bit of open space which might reduce the craic a little either that or turn it into gunfight at the ok corral! ( all over in 10 seconds type stuff)Personally i'm a big fan of the covert /crawlin around sneaky bits .

Just stick a date in with any luck it will have been raining the grounds a lot easier to dive on when wet and soggy !and will see if I'm free ( assuming getting on in the years and not as fit as they used to be old duffers are allowed ? ) actually good lady did mention wanting a bash at this at some point( not classed as old duffer !) so might be both of us .

Obviously wounds then need to be licked , plasters applied and heroic tales of battle recanted so beerage in a tavern would follow? even a little warm vittles ? I reckon to cap off a "grand day out" . This could be a lot of fun assuming there's no regular paint ball pros going or it will be like going over the top at the somme!
