A couple in the village have pampas grass outside their bungalow but they are in their eighties. Perhaps the oldest swingers in town? They do seem very cheerful, although he walks with a limp.

I've just had a thought- and a quick check on Street View reveals that my parents have one in the front garden, right up by the main road...

There's a lot of houses in Oulton other side of Stone that used have pampas grasses in their front gardens,we had walk past them on the way to school. If I remember, even the vicar had a couple in the vicarage front garden. My big sister always reckoned he werea bit funny.

When I worked in Derby a colleague told me about this.

She reckoned it was common knowledge in Mickleover that there was a swinging community in the village and the Pampas Grass was their flag of choice.
