The nail shop but Too Fat Goblins is very good - you can tell how frequently I actually get my nails done by the fact I'm happier to buy comics then cosmetics most of the time but I know people who have been going there 10+ years..

I tried out Stafford College not long ago and they were excellent - very professional, really cheap and the building is super swanky!

I only think its in term time tho but defo worth a visit - it was the first beauty thingy I've ever had and they were great, really knowledgeable and sweet girls :)

My Sister In Law is a mobile Beauty Therapist, she does gel and normal varnish and she is very good! I had a gel pedicure 3 weeks ago and no chips at all, it looks like she only did it this morning! Reasonably priced too.
PM me if you want her phone number.

Hi Crazy Rat Lady, I remember you planning your visit and am so pleased you enjoyed it. Thanks for recommending us!

We are in the middle of induction week at the moment. Term proper starts next week. The termly timetable isn't on the Beauty Academy booking desk yet but I gather that you should definitely be able to make an appointment for a pedicure towards the end of this month. The booking line is 01785 275514. If you leave it until next week to call, they should have a full plan of which treatments will be available on each day and can take bookings.

The 'No Rats' rule is still stubbornly in place, I am afraid. :mystery:
