Staffies? I take what Tia Maria Torres says about these bull breeds thanks. She's met more of them that all of you combined..

And before anyone jumps in, pit bull for Tia is any pit, staff or mix of these.

Firstly how the feck do you know what people's experiences of staffies are?

Secondly pit bull terriers are a recognised breed and are NOT staffies. There are reasons why Pit Bulls are on the dangerous dogs list and staffies aren't.

Thirdly who the feck is Maria Torres anyway?

You're just jumping on the "all dog attacks are staffies" bandwagon. Have you thought about working for the BBC?

Stick to your greyhounds until you understand what a staffie actually is.

Those are not my words but the words of people who have rescued thousands of bull breed types. Go away and read it properly

It doesn't matter whether they all attack or not. What matters is that when they do they inflict way more damage on other dogs than 'normal' dogs. They 're also the breed of choice for the moronic chavvy dickheads. Not the breeds fault but an inarguable fact sadly.


There are hundreds of well balanced breeds to chose from that weren't bred to have such strong jaws and serious aggression. There's no need to have staffies at all and walking my dog would be a far more pleasant experience without having to worry when he is next going to be attacked by yet another out of control aggressive Staffie

By the way Tia Maria Torres is referring to American Staffordshire terriers not Staffordshire bull terriers from what I've seen.

You can't treat all bull terriers as pit bulls and if you do why not include ALL terriers as dangerous dogs and get them all on the list, even the little old Yorkie? They're all the same aren't they?

I agree with your words about chavvie dickheads and this goes back to my earlier posts about how any dog is trained and handled.

As for your comment about there's no need to have staffies, there's no need to breed genetically modified dogs for fashion purposes but that's down to people's choice of furry companion. Staffies are loyal, affectionate, intelligent, obedient and well behaved if trained and managed properly.

Agreed. I dog sat for my son's Staffy last week, I've had dogs my whole life and his Staffy is the softest, sweetest dog I've ever known.
It's the owners that encourage them to fight that need banning.
