One of them seems to be a cross between Wilko Johnson and Prince Charles...

I believe they already have a photo booth in attendance, so it wouldn't be as viable - but thanks a million and always let me know about these things just incase :)

If anyone isn't sure about the thought of a photo booth at their party, I'm introducing another service that may be of interest instead. It's called "Mobile Party Print" and is currently really popular in the states. I'll be one of the first in the UK to offer this service.

New photo booth housing put straight to use this weekend, along with a new cabinet that I feel quite proud of building. @Gramaisc contributed to 4 or 5 round holes - again thank you for rushing to the rescue. :)

I was lying in bed last night thinking (as the rain hammered down on the frustratingly noisy roof above my head) and the following popped into my head:

Face swapping is all the rage nowadays, do any photo booths exist on the market with face swapping technology? If not, that could be very popular, if you were able to integrate with the apps around that can face swap people with each other, with celebrities etc... you might be able to create huge demand for something nobody else has.

Whilst this is a nice thought, the problem is that those booking the booth (in most cases, the bride & groom) want an album of memories of their guests acting like fools and wearing silly wigs and hats etc. However, they still want it to represent their guests, and not have the faces of celebs.

The booth software that I use is massively the market leader and has soooooo many features built in that I choose not to use. It already does dubsmash, marryoke and more to mention. The problem is that when you enable so many features and choices, the time that a single group of people remain inside the booth for becomes several minutes instead of just 1 - 2 minutes. Less sessions per hour = less memories for the happy couple. In general, people that book want a photo booth that does just that - take photos. If guests were given a choice, then no doubt I can offer things that add to the fun and options but could literally cut the number of sessions to a third. Guests would also moan if the que moved too slowly, and believe me when I say that the que can already reach a point where it has 25% of the guests!

Of those in the competition that offer the extra services, my research shows that not many people are taking advantage anyway. I've only to date had one guest comment that I don't do something another one did, but she also commented that we had loads more fun props and our que moves much faster and she "preferred it". That'll do for me ;)

I appreciate you thinking about & mentioning it though, @citricsquid
Ideas are always appreciated :)
