If you entered photos into the gallery, then they will be up there. If you entered the competition then they won't and will be judged at the end of the week.

Missed it, bah! I'm now stuck in town 5-6:15 on Mondays, so planned on a pie before going to school. Both weeks so far I've worked late though, still aint tried the chilli pie. Is the lasagne pie on yet?

Here.
Ah thanks Gramaisc. That kind of thing doesn't usually escape my attention so easily!
There appears to be an increasing tendency for it to be spelt 'lasagna', in fact, that seems to be the norm on the net - thoughts?

We had a big debate in The Railway about 2 years ago about this. I'm too tired right now so will explain the outcomes tomorrow!

Luckily for me, one of the people who agreed with my thoughts on this had lived in Florence for a long time. I don't know whether she's mentioned it.

It just seems to me that it should be lasagne in the context of a dish made with multiple sheets, in the same way that we say spaghetti, not spaghetto....

I blame the Americans.

i always thought that lasagna was the pasta used to make the dish, but the meal itself was called lasagne? :raise:

I'm assuming this is similar to the Panini (plural) and Panino (singular) debate where the plural has become the norm..

I have just had a perusal of the gallery upstairs whilst I was unavoidably detained there by the recent Amazonian deluge. And very good they all are, too.
