Pigs

Does anyone here have the facility or know of anyone who does, that can take in 5 pigs, saving them from being shot? My sister looks after them at a house near Bishops Offley/ Walkmill. The people who previously lived there, have moved to the Peak District, and the new owners don't want them. They were all originally rescue animals., unloved/unwanted and mistreated. 1 is a blind male with a dodgy foot, they could do with somewhere that they can snuffle around and do whatever pigs do.
I would be eternally grateful if someone could help.

I am going to be pretty vague here, I should listen to my wife more. There is a school up on the road to Uttoxeter, almost just before you get to Uttoxeter that looks after kids that need special educational needs. I know they have pigs and animals, they might take them on. I will have a google and see if I can find the name of the school.

I think you will find they have to be ' humanly slaughtered' rather than shot!

Hope Henryscat doesn't see this or they will go off on one.

@Roland I think the reason the people taking the place on want rid of them, is simply because they smell. There's also 2 donkeys and 2 alpacas there, but cos they're really cute etc, they can stay.
