Used to be a taxi driver myself in a previous life and this was the only place that I ever had somebody do a runner. The area around there is not of the best design and there are lots of rat runs, which make it easy to get away.

Former friends of mine would do a runner frequently when they lived up around Highfields way, that and strategically attempt to swipe away various objects in the car...head rests etc just for the kick of it.

May I add that I was never apart of this and actually thought it was extremely childish of them, hence why they are now former friends.

Hope the perps are caught soon and sentence to a hard life in an iso-cube
