Village locations add a lot to the price. Personally I don't think there's a big enough garden but that doesn't seem of interest to most nowadays.

People do manage to live without mains gas you know, there's none for miles round here and we still manage to survive...!

Does the "lower ground floor" bedroom mean it's in the cellar? Seems a lot for a terraced place.

If you remember the pub at all at the back there was small snug area down a few steps where you could sit and have a drink maybe it's that area.

Someone with more money than sense will buy.

We're on LPG and have no problems.

At 2,000 square feet according to the floor plans it is larger than most "executive 5 bedroom detached" many of which are 1200 - 1600 square feet.

is this in a village? is it classed as part of sandon or hopton? its just the top of a bank with no footpath to anywhere.
the rear of the properties just look odd to me, they all have the privacy of 6 foot panel fencing to pen you in, yet everyone's over looking you because of the elevation.
the seller really should have tidied that car park up before taking that picture, or not bothered putting it up.

The close board fencing is not in keeping with rural fencing where post and rail or stock proof fencing is the norm. At least the developer has used close board fencing rather than shiplap although my preference for a rural / village location would be a hedge of native species. Shame on the council for neglecting such details, guess this can't be a conservation area and no one cares enough to ensure things are in keeping.
