Qualified and certified bathroom installer

I would like to find a reputable bathroom installer who has master tradesmen quals as well as testimonials from customers as well as being able to show me their work.
I want a fully discussed written quote.
I'm looking to install a downstairs bathroom.
I've had many bad experiences with the last kitchen guy running of with the money etc
All the advice forums say get a written quote and do not part with money in advance and check their qualifications.
So I'm trying to do this the correct way to make sure I do not get disappointed again.
Is there anyone out there who you know of who fits this bill please?
Many thanks.

Thanks for the link G.
It's not replacing like for like.
It's using the downstairs pantry & outside store to make an inside shower room with loo so requires gas and electricity meters moving & plaster boarding to make walls etc.
Whilst recommendations are good, I do want someone with evidence of the right qualifications and not just a chap who does bathrooms and quotes on a scrap of paper.

Moving gas and electricity meters will mean contacting the service provider it's not something you can do yourself. It's also not cheap.

Sounds to me like you're going to need multiple trades most likely builder, plasterer, gas fitter and or plumber and electrician before you can even make a start on fitting the actual shower room. If your not confident in managing all that yourself then the best option would be to find someone who specialises in extensions or similar. They will have a team of people who they work with and will be able to quote you for the whole job.

To be fair I don't know for sure that the meters can't stay where they currently are.
It could be expensive to move them but looking on moneysavingexpert someone on there had it done as cheap as £267 because it was in the same line as the gas line but just moved further along.
Apparently they're more keen to do it if they can put it in an outside cabinet so they can read the meters and tbh I'd be fine with that.
Thanks for the info & advice though.
Catabatic is gonna take a look at the situation and we can take it from there.
Your comment about find someone who specialises in extensions is interesting though. I'd like to find someone like that. But who.
That's the problem. Where do I look to find them as I still don't know who I'm getting even when I choose from the yellow pages.
The last people who allegedly specialised in complete conversions made a dogs dinner of my lounge and diner after a flood.

Try Intown interiors on the Lichfield road, they did an amazing job on our kitchen, and sorted all the trades out who also took a lot of pride in their workmanship. They do bathrooms too.

I don't like slating businesses on the Internet but I wish we had known about them when we had our bathroom renovated, the people we used got all the trades together but I'm really unhappy with the finish and the tiling looks like a DIY job.
