R.I.P. Sir Bobby Robson

I've just heard on Radio 1 that England and Toon legend Sir Bobby Robson has lost his battle with cancer. He was a great ambassador for the game and will be remembered by many as a very charitable and charismatic fella. Big shame.

What are your memories of this gentleman of football.

Mine, as a lifelong Wolves fan was when he called up Steve Bull to the England squad in 89 and giving him his debut (a scoring one) against Scotland at Hampden Park.

Long live the memory of Sir Bobby Robson. A hero to everyone in football.

In full agreement there, i'm convinced that the tipton terrier was never going to grace the world's stage at this footie mularkey however although mr. robson probably also knew this but it didn't dissuade him from allowing bully from fullfilling aq schoolboy dream.......
