Not sure whether it's tomorrow or Sunday for me at this stage, I need to liase with Mr Grigson, so a report on tomorrow would be useful....

Might make an effort for tomorrow if the weather is as promised, though..

I have considered changing my avatar in order to comply with the anonymity thread.

Nothing planned this weekend, so preferably the warmest day maybe best?

OK. Continuous situational assessment and the maintenance of a flexible response capability it is, then.

Went to this a couple of years ago and couldn't believe how busy it was!

We went today and the boys had a blast. Well worth a visit although it ended up costing us £200! The boys insisted on getting a train set and the lovely lady at the Salter Street Toy Shop was happy to help...got a sledge too! Woohoo!

An excellent event and I was touched that they gave us some stools so the boys could see better...mind you they were still a bit too short.

Might go again tomorrow depending on the weather...

Aaaaaaye, great fun - for me at least ;) Photos are being uploaded to Facebook as we speak, if there are no replies before then I'll simply edit this post. Me and t'kid broski are going back tomorrow(or is that today now?) to pick up a Dean Sidings kit for a N&BR saddle tank and to have a proper gawp at everything!

Blimey! That's a lot of pictures - hardly worth going up there now...

The 'purple' Morris 1000 is a 'Minor Million' and is actually in 'lilac' - they produced them as commemorative special editions when they reached the millionth car, they even had 'Minor 1 000 000' boot badges.

Thanks MoD1982 for all the nice photos!
Some nice layouts to be seen.

For us in Holland its quite rare to see an English layout (Although the numbers are on the rise)
We have to go to the main exhibition in Utrecht to see a few.

I'd say so. Most of the pictures are from just three layouts, the amount of details that can be uncovered are fantastic! As I mentioned earlier, I liked it so much I'm going back for more - I honestly thought it'd be a bit of a snoozefest but boy are my eyes opened up now!

The Exhibition was much less crowded than it usually is, due to the weather, I suppose. The general standard was as high as ever, but without the magnificent peaks that were there last year - personal preferences coming out there, probably..

Nice to meet djwellis and his social worker up there.
