Rangers win in final home game

In the club's final home game of the season Stafford Rangers won 2-1 against Gainsborough Trinity, who are managed by ex-Aston Villa, Wolves & Stoke manager, Brian Little. Trinity took the lead in the first half, before Stafford got back two goals in quick succession through Nick Wellecomme and Levi Reid. Stafford are now 16th in the Blue Square North out of 21, with 1 game to play, away at Workington on Saturday 24th April.

The club's end of season awards were presented pre-match:
Managers Player of the Season: Tom Thorley

He did live in the new-ish estate off the Tixall Road and think he may still do. Therefore, I doubt he would travel up there to meet the team.
