Recently I’m addicted to this:

Sonic Youth’s Superstar, a cover of the Carpenters, I just love everything about it, but I’m not crazy over either Sonic Youth’s music or the Carpenters, can anyone recommend me anything like this?

Put me in mind of Black Box Recorder.

My first thought was of Keren Ann for some reason, which led me to discover that if you want to listen to Roses And Hips on the interweb, your options are more limited than such a good tune would lead you to expect.

Also, it would appear i'm living in the past.
