Replacing house windows...

Need some help...

I need to get the windows replaced in a house I still own in Stafford but which is rented out.

Are there any particular companies the forumites would recommend, more importantly, are there any you'd avoid like the plague?

Thanks in advance.

We have used Jay Bees in Cannock for replacement glass in both UPVC and wood, would highly recommend

They've been recommended elsewhere on here before. I dealt with them once quite a few years ago and found them to be excellent.

I used Central Windows when I replaced my windows, my father used them too, they did a good job and were reasonably priced. The windows were lovely and they were able to give us exactly what we wanted. Also the salesman was not at all pushy or deceitful, he just came round, looked at the house and gave us a quote.

I broke a window in a rented house once and used a company on Astonfields call Glass 'n Glazing or something. Anyway, would recommend them, good service and mercifully reasonable in their pricing.
