Richard Hammond

Does anyone else find this guy to be an incredibly irritating little oik? With his effected speech and his predictable stupidity... I never used to object to him but now have great difficulty watching Top Gear without fast forwarding through all the bits featuring him and his inane drivel. Maybe it's just me?

Not seen the new one yet, but I assume that him over-pronunciation of words has got worse (unlike the Clarkson's which is at least still funny).

I must be entering my sad old age, as I reckon that James May is probably the only one that I could manage to hold a reasonable conversation with.

May can be almost bearable at times, but the other two are completely beyond my tolerance. I haven't watched either of them for some time but presume that they are probably worse than when I had to give up.

basil

don't mention the blinds
May was watchable when he was with oz clarke boozing their way around the country. The other pair should be taken out and shot ......

I think you've hit the nail on the head there!

He wrote Little Arrows for Leapy Lee which in my book puts him in a totally different league from the irritating long haired midget from Top Gear!
So in essence Mr Marwood, I'm in agreement with you.

And I swear he's getting worse! Even if I fast forward his bits of Top Gear at 64x he still has the ability to irritate, just faster!

Anders Behring Breivik has expressed his personal admiration for Clarkson, but I am unaware, so far, of his opinion of Hammond.
