Miss Morgan was brilliant, unfortunately she died last year. Miss Paget was her 'partner'. Mrs Sartain always had her arms folded but moved all over the place whilst her feet were still. Very odd, but nice lady.

Only Mr Clear and Maxine Hut out of them lot were teachers when I was there. The deputy was Mrs Blair (Heir Blair) very strict little woman who's office occupied the Library. RE was a Miss Holden, History was Mrs Sartain, French Mrs Lowe, PE Miss Morgan and Mrs Jones. Typing Mrs Hill, Mrs Blair also taught English, Miss Paget Geography, Mrs Wiegand HE also a Mrs Layton. Mrs Williams Art, Mr Gallimore Biology, Mrs Stubbs Maths, Mrs Trubshaw English Mr Smith Music. Mrs Farnsworth Maths. Mrs Burnhill crikey, surprised I remembered all of these.
Ah yes, it's all coming back to me now. I had Mrs Sartain for French before Mr Luft. She used to drive the smallest car I'd ever seen, an old Fiat 500 or something. Also had Mrs Williams for Art, a very nice lady as I remember, maybe that's why I chose graphics as a career. Mr Smith was music before Mrs Fairbanks, I think he had a nervous breakdown or something. I had Miss Paget for Geography and history I think. Remember Mr Gallimore too. We had a woodwork/metalwork teach with a false leg too, his name may have been Mr Jones but I'm not sure.

I had an English teacher at Weston Road called Mrs Trubshaw. She wore really whacky clothes as I remember.

Yes that's her, she retired last year apparently. She never looked any different from when she was my form teacher 30+ years I go. She was very strict but I liked her.

It was a success in the fact that I got to see loads of peeps and catch up.

I think I remember you to Wifey. You were a year behind me.

yes i think i must have been a year behind, left in 1980. not sure i know who you are though as yet!! would have been nice to have gone but son had lots of unruly teenagers in the house and didnt dare leave them!
and to mr marwood - no i dont eat beef sandwiches but am partial to the odd bag of chips though! would be lots of complaints now if they tried putting a school next to an abbatoir!

Thanks to everyone who turned up for the re union on Friday, I'm not sure if I will be organising another one yet in the future, but will be posting photos and video of the evening on my facebook site ASAP. By the way I did speak to Mr Clear (who still lives in the Walton on the hill area) but he declined our invitation

Wow, I remember Renshaw, Luft and Millman, Renshaw went up to Riverway and I remember he turned up with a black eye or broken arm one day and of course everyone said a pupil had done it or his wife had beaten him up.

I remember the quad (if that's what it was called, it seemed huge back then but today it'd probably feel tiny.
I remember Mr renshaw he was big !! it was a pupil who gave him a black eye it was beginning of P.E he lifted the lad up by his shirt and the lad kids him in the balls then kicked him in the face I was there the lads name was Lee lol remember a teacher called miss Morgan she was one of the best teacher .cant real remember much remember a lad in my year called Paul moore and a lad called be he was tall for his age I was at st johns then when to Riverway

Any former pupils of Kingston Secondary Boys School, Dartmouth St, Stafford who would be interested in a possible reunion at Stafford Rangers Social Club please can you inbox me... I'm trying to get an idea of interest and numbers. We've not had one since 2010 at Stafford Rangers and previously 1997 at MRI. If there's enough interest I'm happy to organise another. Please drop me a personal message if it's something you would like to attend, thanks
