I do admit I love pulling up people on their made up stories. did that chap or woman who claimed they spoke with someone working as a local agent on the riverside that it is was going to be stopped as it was sinking ...lol.

but this rugby club story I have generally given I wide berth. Don't know enough about it and the decision is made.

p.s. alpha, are you that conspiracy chap who was always on here but under a different guise. You have said alot of the same things ?????

; )

It would be nice if that was the topic I was reading instead of your inane conspiracy theories and harassment of other forum members

I posted: "The council website has it as 'awaiting decision', so do you have inside info????"

This being a thread about the rugby club move affecting us all, that seems to be a reasonable question to put to someone who generally adopts an authoritative tone about council matters. I think you're the one doing the harassing with your conspiracy theories.

The thread/ post I added about judicial review is long done and dusted and was taken from a local paper.....you know public accessed info.

I have no inside track and personally I lost interest and while back now.

not sure what inside on council matters I have apart from that which again is public reported information.

I have worked on the riverside development as an independent consultant. That build has been done by a private investors and contractors. Bar £2 million in a build that will end up over £100 million and passing planning SBC have done little and SCC nothing.

What we know so far -

i) The initial application was approved
ii) That decision was subject to a Judicial Review
iii) SBC ceded that it was wrong to give said approval on the 'technical' grounds that the correct environmental impact assessment - or some such - hadn't been included in application 1.0
iv) Application 1.1 - now with added hundreds and thousands and a cherry on the top - is approved
v) That decision is in doubt, subject to scrutiny from the SoS for Approved Pudding Toppings
vi) SoS for APT deems it unnecessary to be 'called in', so application 1.1 can go ahead
vii) Application 1.1 does not go ahead

What we don't know so far -

i) Why application 1.1 has not gone ahead - cf vi) ^above
ii) Why nobody knows why i)
