Sandwich emporium

Any recommendations for a sandwich bar with seats in Stafford? Like to grab a quick bacon & egg or sausage butty on a Saturday morning and have been using Fatsos but quality has definitely slipped in the last couple of months. The dried out excuse for a sausage on my sandwich on Saturday just gone was the last straw for me.

Personally I love Subway. I've never had anything at breakfast before, but here's the menu

I sometimes have them at lunch if I'm in town - I think it's nicer than McD's etc and defo better value

Thanks for the feedback, am looking for plain old bacon/sausage & egg sandwich.
Tried McGregors early one weekday morning a while back and they Microwaved some pre cooked bacon, was too hungry at the time to whinge so I shut up, paid up & ate up but didn't go back. Love their pork & Stuffing baps at lunchtimes though, very tasty and generously filled.

Someone highly recommended The Bap Shop near Argos in town for lunch. They may serve breakfast. I am not sure.

I haven't been there but I may try it.

My local cafe round the corner from work charges £1.85 for a bacon butty £2.10 for bacon & egg. Loads of nice thick bacon too, not the standard two rashers.
Is Mags & fags still going up common road?

the bap shops rather expensive, millies in stone is brilliant
at least if the bap shop is used it'll be cheaper than travelling all the way up to stone......

jock - the bloke that used to have a trailer outside the builders yard up tilcon avenue has relocated to a shop on sidney ave just off silkmore lane, he does some nice brekkies and butties, and has seating too :)

Now that could be worth a try! Most trailer type outlets understand what a bacon 'n' egg butty should be.

Thanks for that Mrs B, I called in at Jocks on Saturday morning, good freshly made bacon 'n egg butty. Looks like I've sourced a new venue for week-end brekkies.
