The Wild West Family Hoe Down on 1st of June at Highfields Social Club.The event will be raising funds for Stafford MS Society. Get your Stetsons & cowboy boots on and come on down and join in the fun and games. 4.30pm till late £2 admission adults, kids FREE (MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT)
The Big Pig Hog Roast company will be there selling their buffalo wings, ribs, hot dogs & burgers, Lee Edgington & his humdinger Subsounds disco will be playing late into the night(no Country & Western music)Stafford Jets Cheerleading Squad, Anna’s Art face painting, Vensha (jewellery,handicrafts), Vitalianos Ice Cream, Gems Pancakes, Candyfloss & sweets, The Owl Experience Bird Of Prey Rescue Sanctuary; get your picture taken with a bird of prey, Nik Naks Crafts, Stafford Gymnastic Centre Display Team,The Fudge Pot,Usborne books, Maries Cottage Cards, Body Shop at Home by Rachel, Unique Flames (candles) ,Congleton Bouncy Castles, FAIRGROUND RIDES and attractions,, raffle, tombola, lucky dip,fun and games. Much more to be confirmed!
Peter Taunton; Stafford’s very own Town Crier will be judging the fancy dress competition adults and kids (we know you’ve always wanted to be a cowboy).
Prize categories 0-2 boy and grl, 3-11 boy and girl 12-16 male and female. For adults 'Pamper Basket' - ladies and 'Boys Night In' Hamper for the male winner.
Come as cowboys/girls, Native American squaw/brave, medicine man, John Wayne, Crazy Horse, Doc Holliday, Butch Cassidy, Geronimo, Clint Eastwood - 'the man with no name’, Charles Bronson, Buffalo Bill, Lee Van Cleef, Doris Day - Calamity Jane, Sitting Bull, Davy Crockett, Billy the Kid, Laura Ingles, The Walton’s, Jesse James, The Lone Ranger, Alias Smith and Jones, Col. Custer, the list is endless...
