Apparently the other driver clipped him near the roundabout on Broad Eye, for this he chased him round to the front of the college and overtook then quickly stopping in front to force the other guy to stop. He then got out screaming obscenities right in the old fellas face, pretty sure he spat at him but didn't get that on film so couldn't be positive. He was acting so out of proportion to what had allegedly happened that he needed punishing.

I looked over his car before the police took it and couldn't see much, was a very minor dink if it even happened. The guy was acting like the typical stereotype of a BMW driver, but on coke.

    Warning probable scam alert !

Just had a dodgy phone call from a man with a heavy Stoke accent claiming to be from UK homes, saying they were working on some houses in the area (named a local street) and would we be interested? Could they bring round some brochures round etc ... I declined as I knew it was a cold call, I googled UK homes after I can find no evidence of its existence.

This sounds like a confidence trick from some dodgy idiots to get in your home, please warn folk and remember don't get work done by strangers desperate to do work on your house however nice they may sound.

I wonder if it’s the same person who broke into my neighbours car a couple of weeks ago. That was during the middle of the night as well. Scum

Somebody broke into a car a couple of weeks ago in Salt Road, so not too far away? Same person / gang?

What's the point of stealing a door when you could steal the belongings inside or the van itself?

In fact, I've never heard of anyone stealing a vehicle door before.

A few times - but only to see friends. I suppose both vehicle doors would have been stolen concurrently up there?

2 burglaries in Alliance Street last night according to the Holmcroft Ward matters FB page. Not sure which end but a motor bike was heard around the time apparently.

The word on the street ( tree lined avenue )

A team of 3 and a van have targeted Stafford from junctions 14 and 13 and hit on property within a two minute radius

    But that isn't official

    It's chatter

Today, a two minute radius from J14 wouldn't have had many houses in it.

Who knows? Or can be trusted to tell you.

Beaconside will go on for months at this rate - and they seem to virtually block Lloyd's roundabout whenever they feel like it.

Every day is a game of chess.
